What agent could do to change your mind?
Dealt with our various problems as they arose instead of dragging them on for months on end. Arrived with at least the latest updated inventory (although this still wasn't correct) instead of the original one. Not felt it necessary to charge for painting an entire room over a few tiny marks, especially given the absolutely horrendous experience we'd had throughout the tenancy.

They did the same to us. They sent the inventory 2 weeks after we moved in. With our furniture in place we could not check the inventory. When we complained the person who did the inventory said that it was very difficult to do an inventory with a kid and a dog around while the owners were moving out. Ridiculously unprofessional. The house was not cleaned. There were balls of dog hair everywhere and they charged us a cleaning fee. ...

I am sorry that you were unable to see the properties that you had requested on your appointment, the difficulty we have is that the majority of our properties advertised are tenanted and we are reliant on the current tenants allowing access for the viewings, without their permission we cant legally go into the properties. This comment sounds valid to me as I am currently going through a very similar troubling situation with DJ Alexander. The lack of communication between employees is aggravating, and the check out cleaniness was held to a higher standard than check in. It is scummy to take pictures of items from a distance at check in then zoom in close for check out photos for "evidence" that flat requires "professional cleaning" at the tenants expense ...

whilst their website looks relatively nice, wherever they are storing client details really needs to be more transparent. The fact I cannot use the same previous addresses for my wife and I is simply ridiculous. Then only to be asked to fill all this information again when they wanted to complete a credit check on me, in another location? Its just a ridiculous system and I would definitely look to avoid using DJ Alexander in the future.

Firstly, your disappointment with my colleague Mr Valentine was not due to any failing on his part, but simply because he refused to deduct money from your tenant's deposit after your unreasonable request to charge them for some minor dilapidations.
