As I KNEW would happen, the DPS Returned my full deposit minus £58 for lightbulbs and cleaning.
That was after being dragged through the DPS process kicking and screaming and filing things late, dragging it out as long as they could and then in the middle of the process withholding a new reference for a new apartment due to the dispute.
Anyhow - moral of the story is, never accept that they can just keep your deposit for 'landlords reasonable fees' and challenge it ever ...

Reassess our case and return the unfair amount taken from us.
