What agent could do to change your mind?
They could give me my holding fee back as it is unfair to keep it. They could also be more helpful over the phone. On top of this, they could have offered us options such as a bigger deposit, rent upfront. They chose not to do any of this.Attached Filesnbsp;

As a landlord, too many times do I see the dirt of tenants who have no clue as to what is clean when they leave a property. I am sure they would complain if it was as dirty when they arrive in the property. Clueless most of them. ...

I'm currently having exactly the same problems with the return of my deposit. I have challenged them over the retentions, asked for evidence of works, and haven't had a response in days.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
