MY WORST ESTATE AGENTS AWARD 2013 Rang to book appointment and waited 3 days for someone who was going to "call you back straight away - NOONE CALLED BACK UNTIL WE SENT IN A COMPLAINT and even then all they did was put us on email alert Finally booked viewing. Drove 100 miles to view the property at 9.30am on Tuesday 29th Oct. Waited half an hour for someone to turn up - NOONE DID. Drove back to Builth Wells to find the agent sat bhind her desk scoffing herself. Asked why she wasn't at the property and to my utter amazement she just sat there and told me she had forgotten we were viewing it - AFTER ALL IT IS A LONG TIME FROM MONDAY TO TUESDAY 3 and a half hours later she rang to apologise and wondered if we were still interested in seeing the property!!!!!!! By then we had looked at 2 properties with another agent (McCartneys) who at least had the decency to turn up for viewings and on time. People who are selling through this agent should be concerned at the utter lack of professionalism and their ability to sell a property effectively.
Turning up for the viewing would have helped. Booking the appointment the previous week when we first called would have helped Having a senior Manager call us to offer an explanation would have helped

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
