Rented a property in Oxford (as tenants) with Finders Keepers. Referencing processing was fairly swift but then had no responses whatsover from the property manager (who seemed to have the out of office on all the time) when we pointed out various issues (mistakes in the inventory, boiler not working, etc). Worst part was that when any repairs had to be carried we weren't given notice that the repair man was coming, so he would BASICALLY WALK IN WHENEVER HE WANTED WITH HIS KEY. This occurred on more than 2 occasions -finding us in the shower or sleeping, for example-. Completely disturbing. No apologies at all from the head office; they blamed the contractor instead (errm hold on, I was guessing they were the ones that were 1) contacting him and 2) handing him the keys, so obviously they must have had an idea of when the repairs would be made). No phone calls to apologize about this either (well we would have been surprised as very rarely were our phone calls returned). Won't be dealing with them again if I have a choice.

Despite confirming the move-in date, they called me a week and a half before the scheduled move just to inform me that the landlord had decided not to work with them anymore, citing disagreements between both parties. Consequently, I could no longer move into the place. They weren't even able to connect me with the landlord directly, so I could attempt to negotiate with them directly.

This left me in a predicament as I no longer had a contract for my current place and had no other place to move into. I had a week to find another place, which is too short a period to find a place in Oxford.
Wouldn't suggest them to anyone.

Where do I begin with this agency? How could I ever express my dissatisfaction with the way they treated me and my housemates. Not only did we report about broken fixtures within the house, the violent housemate that we had, the fact that they kept nearly ALL of our deposit money is disgusting. I wish I could go back in time and tell myself NOT to rent from them. Treated us like dirt and kept the majority of our money! And if that wasn't joyous enough, they had the audacity to turn around and charge us RIDICULOUS amounts of money from our deposit to 'clean'. Wish I never went with these bunch of low lives... AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Unless you like being mugged off, then by all means crack on! And a message to Victoria; if you're thinking of replying, don't! Give us the money that you owe us still and we'll leave it at that. :)

This is the worst letting agent I have ever dealt with,
we rented the property in the summer as soon as winter started the problem started in the house we rented, damp and condensation in sitting/ bathroom and in bedroom area,we contacted them and we carried out the independent review of the property but in reply they said landlord will not agree to do the repair so we can not do any repairs and we left stranded with no option to live in these condition
These high fees are not justified by their service which is poor, no-one returns your calls, you have to chase for answers to questions etc. I do not recommend them at all.

As soon as they have your extortionate deposit, there is nothing too small that can't be somehow your fault. Have a problem? Sure, they'll send somebody around...eventually. They won't give you any warning, though!
When you have finally had enough, you scrub the place. You clean the cracks in the cracks. I'm a proud person and and anally retentive one. That place was cleaner than when I moved in. I had never had a deposit held back and I'd be damned if I'd let it happen again.
I cleaned the curtain rings, FFS. They charged £300 for cleaning what, according to their damning photos, was a cobweb and a smudge. When I argued the charges, they then claimed it was one of the dirtiest houses they'd ever seen! I used a garden Hoover in the shed, for pity's sake. If that place was dirty, bleach is very filthy indeed. These weren't the only charges, mind, but I haven't got the energy to write a book on their ineptitude, rudeness, immorality and money-grabbing behaviour.
I visited the new tenants. The smudge was still there.
I bet they paid for it, too.
Maybe they've improved in recent years...
...ha ha ha ha ha!

I had an amazing experience with FindersKeepers Estate Agent in Oxford. It was much better than many others that I've tried before. Unfortunately I had to move to London, notwithstanding of this all FindersKeepers team in Park End supported my needs. I know that I might make some unfair comments when I point some staff there and forget many others, but my intention here it is just to reckon a very good job developed for some people. I have to thank you so much to Julie Gardner, the property manager of my flat, for all approaches that she used during the period of my tenancy; she was always effective in solve all problems that just appears in the property. Of course, I also have to thank Louise Humphreys as I do consider one of the best agent that I've never seen in this country... she is very friendly and really understand tenant's needs. Finally, I have to say "thank you" to Sandra Rose, the big boss, who has the seriousness, honesty and patiency to explain every single clause of the agreement signed! To sum up, Park End team... keep supporting all your tenants and carry on!
