Needed constant chasing, didn't take us seriously as buyers and insisted on leaving the property on the market just because we didn't take out a mortgage through them (we were tied in to a fixed rate with our lender anyway!). Basically they were rubbish and we only used them as they were the sole agent on the property we were buying, so had no choice!

Tried to sell us a house that hadn't even been through probate! Let us pay out for searches and solicitors fees knowing it could take another 6 months for probate to go through. In these difficult circumstances, with rent collected late and at the wrong rate, I have already commented independently that I felt it was ironic that the fees had been deducted OK

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
