I rented out my property in good faith that the Hamptons would look after my property. They took at least 6 weeks to find a tenant even though my flat is in a central London location. Finally when the tenant did move in after a few weeks my neighbours sent me a picture of my kitchen door that the tenant had removed and they also thought my property was being sub let on Air BnB. I asked the agent to check up on my property and they said it was not due a visit for a few months. They did not check on line they just took the tenant's word for it. A month later the property manager of the down stairs flat told me my beloved family property was being sub let and the people occupying my flat had flooded the down stairs flat and were continuing to use the shower even though they had been told not to. In the end I had to get a lawyer having found my property on Air BnB . It was being used for hen parties for up to 14 guests a night even though it only has 3 bed rooms. My other neighbour said there had been lots of parties with rubbish thrown around the corridors. I had to get a lawyer involved and Channel 4 approached me to do a documentary about my story too: http://www.channel4.com/programmes/airbnb-dream-or-nightmare I felt very upset by the Hamptons and the agents involved . They paid my money back but never apologised for the upset that they caused me and to my beloved family property. I would not recommend them at all.

Horrible, avoid if possible! Throughout our tenancy it was impossible to reach them, emails would mostly get ignored. Constant change in staff without informing us made it very confusing to know who to contact. Hard to reach or get anything done with them. Finally received our deposit back four... Read Full Review

Hamptons sold my house in Earlsfield last year. The team were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The photographs made my property look fantastic and I had a steady stream of prospective buyers. Their local knowledge ensured my property was marketed well and I received exactly the sale price... Read Full Review

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
