Had �727 deducted from my deposit despite handing the house back in excellent condition as confirmed by the check out report. The deduction was made up of excessive charges for minor issues which I valued at �150 in total, there was no negotiation. I felt that this was a scam, each minor issue was costed separately by one of their contractors.
Landlord both get charged for the contract which is just a standard contract and you have to pay again for renewal.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
