Absolutely dreadful, maintenance department have a license to print money if you let them. Overcharge for hours on everything. Question everything they try to bill you, ask to see time sheets otherwise they rip you off. And check when they say something is a legal requirement as they will try anything to generate revenue.
Over priced for the service

Sep 2, 2019I am inclined to agree with the negative comments. Mine relate to the Aberdein Considine factoring service (which occasionally brings the maintenance dept into play). AC have been my factor for many years in Aberdeen and there hasn\'t been a year go by when their service has been negligent in some respect and their bills inaccurate. Every year I am required to tell them what is wrong with their bills (their accounting staff appear to lack basic arithmetical ability). There is a service level agreement in place which states they will do monthly inspections, yet they never do them that frequently, and when queried they are even brazen enough to admit in writing that they only inspect every 2-3 months. i.e. they acknowledge in writing they do not comply with the legal agreement! They give the impression that they think they are untouchable! They have sent me bills for broken items inside other people\'s flats (i.e. for items that aren\'t even common property) and it only takes one resident to say they have a leaky window and everyone in the block gets a bill for several hundred pounds each. Stairs are cleaned when the cleaner can be bothered or isn\'t on holiday and then the factoring bill at the end of the year expects you to pay for a prefect service! They quite simply don\'t deliver the service they are being paid to do, and they seem to think it is up to the fee-paying residents to tell them when the building has a problem, rather than the other way round! I thought the purpose of a factor was to relieve resident stress, not increase it!

Very pushy. Made an enquiry online to ask for details of their charges and a free valuation. In the space of half an hour they had phoned twice, left a voicemail and sent me an email. When I returned the call a very unpleasant woman (Louise at Aberdeen) basically said that unless I gave her the... Read Full Review

I remortgaged 2 houses through Halifax who use this Company in Aberdeen. Absolutely shocking service and I would NEVER use this Company again. It took them 5 months to process 2 simple remortgages with no communication at all. This process should have taken maximum 4 weeks. They proved to be... Read Full Review

These are the worst Agents I have ever dealt with. I have rented two properties from them now and I only wish I had read other people's reviews before I proceeded with renting from them. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Our son rented a house with some friends when at Aberdeen uni. The great many faults with the house were never addressed. I wish I had read this before using them to lease out my flat. In total I am probably around £2300 out of pocket due to their incompetence. I had a tenant that only wanted to stay for 6 months. I am now into the 2nd year of leasing my property through AC and have to say the first year went rather well and its a shame the service delivery has dropped. - Listened to the very basic requested of the buyer and seller. - Gave much much clearer details of how any bank transfers would work and the documentation needed. - Organising themselves much much better.
