This is by miles the most unprofessional agency I have ever had to deal with. I acted as a landlord with Hamptons to lease out my apartment and below are some of the mistakes they made: 1 - Failed to refund us money owed 6 months after the lease came to an end (I've had to email several times asking for this) 2- Charging us for cleaning fees which the Agency agreed would be picked up by the tenant (after the flat was left in a filthy state) 3- Continue to address their correspondence to my tax attorney who should not be copied in on those emails. I never him them as a contact 4- Rude and unprofessional emails from a woman called Nicole Hinds. She was responsible for account mismanagement (including the mistaken billing with the cleaning fees) and refuses to offer any apology for the incovenience of my having to chase this up 5- We had specifically asked for tenants over age 21 and instead we got a younger age group who left the place in a proper mess 6- we had paid for full management service and this was not done correctly. The swap over in billings was done incompletely and we had to follow up several times 7- we also believe that the property was undervalued to get a transaction completed as soon as possible. other agents have since given us a higher valuation, and found us tenants willing to lease it for a higher value Over all a giant mess which I can only attribute to incompetent lower-level staff and poor upper-level management. A real shame.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
