Property was filthy when we arrived, even when they requested for us to move in a day later so they could deep clean', there was dog food left in the cupboard and shockingly insulin needles in the kitchen! The house in general needed lots of TLC and we spent a lot of time on sorting out small jobs. We waited over 2 months for the 'let' sign to be removed from our front garden. We also discovered that there was a hole in the flue leaving the boiler which meant that carbon monoxide was entering our home everytime we used the gas. When someone came to fix this problem, they entered the property without informing us and we returned from work to find that things had been moved about in our kitchen with no explanation which you will understand was quite unnerving Palmer and partners offered no apology for this. Since we have moved into the property we have received missed calls, text messages and vvoicemails telling us that we have not paid the rent, when in fact we had and my partner received a phone call stating that we were thousands in arrears when we had only lived in the property for two months. In general the staff are rude and unhelpful when contacted and have not apologised for any of the difficulties that we have encountered. I would strongly advise anyone against using these letting agents.
