I saw this property on one of the letting sites and liking it I called the agency to book a viewing. Initially I have been given another phone number to call and talk directly with the agent who deals with the property and calling that number there was no answer. I left a voice mail asking them to get back to me. Few days later, I called again the agency and, once again, they gave me another phone number. I called again and I talk very briefly with an agent who told me that he will get back to me in 30 min as he wasn't in the office. No one called me back so after few more days I called the agency back and complained. The receptionist said that she will leave a message with the agents marked as urgent. And here we are nearly two weeks later with no reply from the agency. Today I called again and once again the receptionist said that she will leave a message marked urgent with the letting agents. I doubt I'll get a reply and it is too bad because it seems that this agency won some awards and it suppose to be a good serious agency! I am very, very disappointed!
What agent could do to change your mind?
The fact that all the phone calls are taken by a receptionist and she is just passing the messages around is not very helpful. Also the agent I managed to speak with (didn't gave me his name) was very rushed and although I called a land line number he told me that he is not in the office. By the time I started to say that I am calling a land line he already hung up... Very disappointing!Attached Filesnbsp;

What agent could do to change your mind?
The fact that all the phone calls are taken by a receptionist and she is just passing the messages around is not very helpful. Also the agent I managed to speak with (didn't gave me his name) was very rushed and although I called a land line number he told me that he is not in the office. Thank you for your feedback but as explained on several occasions we are only listing this property on behalf of the client and so are not able to help you further. All we have the ability to do is provide you with a contact number for the client and incidentally we have forwarded your number onto the client directly too on three occasions. We have no access arrangements, no keys and as previously stated we were simply paid a fee to list the property on major portals.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.

I'm sorry we cannot assist you further but rest assured if it were one of our properties were we are instructed to carry out viewings we would make every endeavour to make such an appointment - this includes regularly conducting viewings in the evenings and also on Sundays.
