I wish I'd come across this website and reviews before we'd put an offer in. The negative reviews on here mirror most of our experience with this 'agency.'
We met Maj in his resplendent and very expensive looking white BMW convertible, and figured that the Agency must be doing well. We put in an offer of £460k, and had it accepted on a 3 bed ex-council house. We believed all was going well, and had our mortgage and lawyers briefed. We were then told that there were two sisters that owned the property, and that one wanted more money so had instructed another agency. The day before we were to request the valuation survey, we were told that another offer had gone in at £25k over the asking price. Not just £10 or even £20k, but considerably higher. We were given a soft touch 'is there any way you can meet this?' talk. And we couldn't, the property needed a lot of work. It was crushing that literally the same day we thought we'd have it in the bag, we were gazumped.
This wasn't the end of the story, as we passed by a month later, and saw a Sold sign on the lawn of the property. It was a Times Place sign. We realised we'd been gazumped by our own agent, Maj.
If you're a seller, you'll likely get a good price, but as a buyer, I would save the pain and financial loss, and look elsewhere.

Are aim is to always try to ensure that cancelations are kept to as minimum as possible as we appreciate this is inconvenient for all parties concerned.
It was unfortunate that we had to cancel the viewing as the property you were booked to view was no longer on the market as the landlord found his own private tenants. As soon as we were informed of this, we made it our priority to cancel the viewings booked in.

There is nothing fake about this review. I lived in said 3 bed property and were party to all of these incompetencies. These have been further illustrated by the above comment saying there are no landlords under this name when we clearly said we were tenants. Incompetencies also included;
Giving no warning of showing the property, even though 24 hours is promised. not hugely appreciated with some of us working night shifts.

I am disappointed that you are one of the very few who feel that your expectations have not been met. I can assure you that we aim to keep both the buyers and sellers needs in mind when assisting with a residential sales. Unfortunately Sellers do not always have just one estate agent assisting with their sale and this can sometimes be a lengthy process when agreeing on an asking price. Regardless I ensured that I informed you promptly and offered you the opportunity to revise your offer at the request of the seller. Others were only prioritized once it was confirmed that you were no longer happy proceeding with the sale.
