If you're a tenant, AVOID! They're the worst, just here to make money on you back.
Example: 3 months after I moved in, I was told I had to pay some water fees, and of courses more fees because the payments were late. I asked for some explanations, asked for an official paper saying I needed to pay that (because it wasn't mentioned anywhere in my contract!), but they never answered me, and one week later, they contacted me saying that I needed to pay more fees for being even more late!
I finally let it go, and paid everything trying to avoid speaking to them...
But now it is back, water readings have now been installed in the building and I have an account with Thames Water, so will need to pay them directly. But Atlantis never contacted me about that, I asked them for the first time in March 2014, and still had no answer at the beginning of July (after multiple calls and emails). I had to paid twice the water rates for March (one to Atlantis and later to Thames Water...).
So I kept asking Atlantis when can i stop paying them, and they never gave me an answer, IN 4 MONTHS! I had the beginning of an answer saying I could stop paying in July, so I did, but now they want me to pay them, added of course with a 36£ fee for being late!
All this, because they can't answer a single email.
I don't know if it's because they just don't care or just don't know the answer to my simple question, either way, I am just tired of dealing with them.
I can't tell a specific name because just on this matter, I had at least 5 different persons saying "we'll take care of that", I believed them, waiting, and now they want me to pay more fees.
This is just to tell you one example, I have a few more of how incompetent they are but it would be too long...
Just avoid.
What agent could do to change your mind?
Better communication, caring about the tenants. This would help.
