I came across eMoov having read about the increasing trend to use an 'online estate agent' in a recent newspaper article. Having fallen off my chair in shock at the extortionate fees traditional high street estate agencies charge, and then having spoken to eMoov about their competitive rates, the answer was clear.
There really is no difference in the services they provide. They arranged the EPC, took the photos, marketed my property on all the usual property websites, booked in the viewings, accepted offers, negotiated prices, responded to solicitors, chased the buyer for updates and generally dealt with anything that needed negotiating for the sale. The only exception was that I had to show people round the property myself, which suited me fine and meant I could answer the detailed questions they had on the day.
Louise Maher was one of my main points of contact at eMoov and she did a fantastic job. She responded immediately to any questions, was an amazing negotiator on a number of tricky topics that came up for discussion, was relentless in making sure we hit our completion dates, and most importantly she performed all her role with a fantastic sense of humour and professionalism. She really did go the extra mile for our sale and is a credit to the eMoov team. She is known as 'Super Louise' in our household!
Overall eMoov did a great job and I would definitely use them again. Personally, if I was a traditional high street estate agent then I would start getting very worried as the eMoov business model is clearly onto a good thing, (and no doubt why James Caan of Dragon's Den has also recently invested in them).

High St agents are starting to rubbish the online concept now, having ignored it at first. So we know we are making great progress now and you are certainly testament to that. Thanks again.
