Worst experience with a letting agency.

From day one it's been nothing but lies. I booked a viewing, they used the wrong pictures "by accident", which showed a bigger more airy flat. I dismissed that because the man seemed so apologetic about the mix up. I stupidly signed the lease, after a tonne of lies (the flat allowed pets, everything would be fixed, I would get a professional clean, new carpet etc. etc.)

The repair man showed up ONCE, and I never heard from him again. Countless emails and phone calls were ignored. I haven't had a working fridge for 8 months, the front door has been busted, throughout the 9 months the door has probably worked for about 2 months, pathetic!

I phoned so many times to get the door fixed and got the same SCRIPTED answer of "oh I'm so sorry to hear that, it's awful, I'll get someone to call you" 3 weeks later, not heard anything, surprise surprise. So, I officially gave them my notice and OMG shock, on the day that they start viewings THE DOOR GETS FIXED. Great service!

One thing: At least the staff are always polite, y'know while they're lying to you.

Oh and lets not miss this awesome thing out: The flat is up on websites using the SAME FAKE PICTURES as they did last time!

Honestly, avoid this company at all costs, they're horrific and I don't say that lightly. They're now asking me to pay money for no reason, I've paid rent on time since the beginning, as well as the deposit and a holding fee (yes, I was stupid) and they're now saying they deserve more money... Yes, you obviously deserve money for not doing your job.

Honestly, the sooner I get away from this company the better, and good luck to whoever has to deal with the lies next.
What agent could do to change your mind?
Fix everything. There's just too many issues, stop ignoring your tenants might be a good start.

Hi Mel, I am really sorry to read of your disappointment, we never want anyone to feel like this. Even if we have several notes of interest, if somebody sends us an offer via their solicitor, we are duty bound to report this to the client. We always advise our client that if there are notes of interest, they should reject the offer and consider calling a closing date to allow everyone to offer, however a seller has every right to simply accept the offer if they feel it is at an acceptable le ...
