Where do I start?
The manager visited us, gave us what he thought was a good price to market our property at, and all was agreed.
After 1 investor viewing who decided against an offer after he asked what we thought at a hugely reduced price "because of family problem", the next was a woman who wanted a completely different type of property to ours-pointless-upon this viewing, the (what I can only describe as) child left his folder with client details in my property, then turned up unannounced and let himself into my property to pick it up!
Next, the "assistant manager" rung up after 2 weeks (!) to ask us to reduce the price by over 10% as we weren't getting viewings, 10 mins later, two viewing requests came in instantly - well done on your info there little boy (19 years old max!).
Next, a very interested party came to view twice, raised concerns about the lease length, to which Romans gave terrible information stating that when it gets to 70 years mortgage companys will say no, not true, 90% of mortgage lenders will be happy at 55 years! (30 years plus mortgage length) so thats put that buyer off.
I'm now leaving this rabble of little children to sign with a much more proffesional outfit, whos fees are at least 1.25% cheaper!
Congratulations Romans - you have managed to cock up a relativly easy sale here and lost out on 3k!
Do not go with these children!

Comment on agent fees
The only fees to comment on are the general fees that Romans charge every time the tenancy is renewed. We have seen this "Admin fee" rise from around £40 to well over £100. We note that this is a practice common with many Letting Agents; and which the Government are investigating..
