This letting agent is absolutely awful. They are very helpful when it comes to viewings and taking your money to conduct the necessary 'checks' which appear to take place overnight. However, once the money and keys are exchanged they are not interested in any problems related to the property, they will ignore emails, phone calls and will out right lie to you about their knowledge of any of the problems, as in our case. They are a complete cowboy company who allowed us to enter into the property without even conducting the inventory properly and therefore without realising the property didn't even have any electricity or gas!!!!!! There are multiple problems with the property they have happily let to us of which they were aware and are doing very little to resolve the issues and have resorted to ignoring us as a solution.

Major Mahil is rude, unhelpful and quite frankly useless in sorting these issues out. He has ignored us and actively avoided us by pretending to be out of the office when we call as he is not willing to resolve the issues at hand. Kate Raybould (maintenance) has lied to us as has Major Mahil about their knowledge of the state of the property and, similarly to what has been stated below in other reviews, quite happy to tell you what you want to hear but do very little to find a solution.

This letting agent, the people working here, the house and the landlord in our case are all bodge and have done nothing but take our money and provide a defective property which they are not interested in repairing. Never use this letting agent, I wish somebody had told us prior to our experience. As in the review below, it appears legal action is the only way to resolve this situation. Definitely a poor excuse for a letting agency.
What agent could do to change your mind?
Been honest, open and 100% truthful about their knowledge of the property, misrepresentation does nobody any favours. Quickly fixed all the problems with the property (there are multiple problems) and fixed them to a high standard. Don't ignore customer's calls, it is unprofessional, rude and pathetic and certainly not the kind of service I would expect to be paying for!

They charge you extortionate fees and the 'checks' seem to happen overnight. I think they pocket the money and hand over the keys in my opinion.

I arranged to meet them at a house. After an hours drive, I arrive and wait and no one shows up. I call them and explain what's happened - the first time I ring the person on the other line pretended she couldn't hear me. I then again on a private number and ask if they can hear me first and they said yes, so I explained again what happened.
