Our previous experiences of estate agents have not been positive, but we were most impressed with the professionalism, helpfulness and friendliness shown to us at all times by all the staff at Nicol & Co, and in particular Karen Smith who was our main point of contact and who seemed at times to be single-handedly managing all the problems of a chain of 5 sales. Nicol & Co not only understand the stresses and challenges facing buyers and sellers; they have also applied their considerable expertise and experience to provide the easiest possible solutions to those problems. A particular bonus was the services of Nick Marsh, their on-site Mortgage Adviser, who not only found us a far better mortgage deal (tailored perfectly to our particular requirements) than we could have hoped to ourselves, but who also managed all the paper work and dealings with the mortgage provider on our behalf for a very modest fee that wasn't a patch on what he saved us. From our very first encounter, when Nicol & Co took enough care and patience to understand our requirements, to the very end of the process on the final handover of keys, Nicol & Co's services were excellent. We know who we will be using when we next need the services of an estate agent!

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed).
