I rang to arrange a viewing. As all estate agents force you to register in order to view a property I went through the process with Mark. When I declined to give my email address Mark seemed incredulous. I stated I did not wish to know about other properties, only this one so there was no need for them to have my email address as I did not wish to be contacted. Once again disbelief. I'm not sure why who wants to be hounded by every estate agent they register with. Can you imagine the amount of emails. Mark asked many further questions and some of them I declined to answer as he they were questions pertaining to other properties they may be able to find for me. It appears that Mark did not listen to my comment that I did not wish to hear about other properties. He then talked over the top of me and was rude. In general Mark was rude to a prospective customer. We arranged a viewing and after getting of the phone I considered cancelling as I was so annoyed about how rude he was. Luckily I was saved the trouble as Mark rang back to say they didn't wish to register me as a customer any longer. I can only suppose that if you won't let them harass you they don't want you as a customer. As I felt that I no longer wanted to view through them anyone this saved me calling them back. I have no desire to buy a property thereby earning an estate agent commission if they fail to have common courtesy. I can only feel sorry that for the owner of the property.
What agent could do to change your mind?
Listen and don't be rude.
