The "overall" service from Reeds Rains recently has been extremely poor recently. They arranged a contractor to complete some repairs on our behalf, which i paid for, but the contractor has not done the work. Reed's response to this is it's not their problem and I should deal with it myself (even though it's THEIR approved contractor!!). I have made several complaints about this and promised numerous phone calls from managers to sort it out, which never happen. I have had to pay for the work (plus the further damage caused as a result of them not completing the work in the first place!) out of my own pocket again! Jane Swann at the Reddish branch is the one and only person at Reeds who seems to know what she is doing. She has been brilliant in finding us a new tenant, ALWAYS calls me back when promised, is efficient and explains everything throughly. She is a pleasure to deal with :)
What agent could do to change your mind?
‚£100 a month to have to sort everything out myself AND pay for repairs TWICE?! The branch, who are the only helpful ones, agreed to reduce management fee, but I expected far more than that and will be taking this further.
