o Had to call the office in order to get the feedback for the application process 3 days after application was made as the office didn't call me back for it.
o Called the office 4 times prior to signing the contract in order to be informed of time schedule to pick up the keys, sign the contract and inventory and every single time I was given no information and just a promise of a call back that never happened
o Had to go to the office without an appointment on Monday the 2nd of June at 10:00 as no feedback was given and that was the agreed date of moving.
o During the contract signing with Ryan (admin) he was not aware of whereabouts of the keys nor he knew when I would be able to get into the property, I was then advised that the gas certification was still due. I was given a time of 12:00 to be at the property for the keys. Left the office.
o 15 minutes after leaving the office I was called by the Branch and told to be at the property as soon as possible as they had a contractor in the property with the key and I should go there and have them handed over to me while the contractor performed the gas checks, for my surprise the contractor was at the property but he too was waiting for the key. Calling the branch I was told that there was a miscommunication between Martin (branch manager) and the contractor and that the keys were actually at the office. For that reason I had to wait about one hour outside the property so the contractor would go back to the office, sign out the keys and come back at the property. I also had to wait for the contractor performing his job during my personal time, that wasn't previously agreed.
o During Contract signing I asked Ryan if the fridge and freezer were already installed on the property as promised by Steve and I have been told that they knew nothing about it and they've assumed so.
o When entering the property I confirmed that it has no fridge or freezer installed. This was expected as I had clearly stated to Steve, at y first visit to the property, that the property didn't interested me without it. Steve then said that a fridge/freezer or both would be installed prior to my move. I stressed with him several times that I wouldn't take the property otherwise and I was assured that this wouldn't be a problem. On that moment he even mentioned that he had other properties were he could shift around the white goods to this one. To be honest I didn't care where it came from as long as it was done but it wasn't done and the property have never received the white goods as promised.
o I have called the Branch several times on the last week, I've spoken with Darren several times and on all these calls I have only received the following info: ¢â‚¬Å“I will talk to Martin and call you back after¢â‚¬Â. I have never received a call back from Darren or anyone in the office.
o I've texted Steve about the problem and got no feedback neither.
o 10/06/14, I've visited the branch one more time as phone calls do not work in this branch, to my surprise the first feedback I had was that the branch would give me the landlord's contact details for me to deal with the problem. Note: I've never had any agreement with the landlord, all the information came from Martin & Co. After stating that I've been told that Steve (not present) never made such promise to me and the only thing he ever said was that he would contact the landlord and make the request. Not only this is untrue, he did made is as a promise, he never mentioned the landlord on our conversations. He also never came back to me before I've signed the contract in order to inform that he wasn't able to fulfill his promise.
o Right now I am stuck in an apartment for the past 8 days without food as I've been pushed around by the people of this branch without a the promised nor with a definite response for it.
o Today, 8 days after moving, was also the first time I've seen/received the inventory. By the way I did receive it only because I went to the office, otherwise id probable would have never seen it.
o I've also have been informed on the 2nd of June that martin & Co. were the ones managing the property by the branch manager. I've also got the information form the landlord today that they do not manage this property.
I question if the people in this branch have the competence to be Managing/Working within the property market. I also question their sales methods that are unethical to say the least.
What agent could do to change your mind?
Better communication
return of agent fees as they were plain incompetent at performing their work
