I applied my mortgage through Preston Baker Mortgage Advisor Shaun Cryer. The offer was accepted, later after the valuation report I asked to reduce the property price and reflect of borrowing amount and I asked for a revised mortgage offer, but this time it was REJECTED.
I quickly called lender to do the follow ups after I realized Preston Baker never submit pre contract note or notify my lender about changes of property price, I have been waiting more than 3 weeks. It should not caused so long delay if Shaun and Lindsey communicate well as a team, Worst thing is new lending rule come out end of April which result my offer rejected. It caused so much hassles as the vendor want to put back to market while we already sold our house. Shaun managed to appeal my case and I finally got my letter of offer. Actually I made complaint to Woolwich relation department and they investigated the whole process and point out Shaun at fault. Anyway I am happy in my new house. It was nightmare for the past few months. and I want to take this opportunity to express my sincere apologies to my vendor that things go wrong unexpectedly and we should have better friendship.
