Me and my husband have had a terrible experience with this agency from the very beginning and whoever considers using their service I recommend staying away from them. The day we moved in to the flat we noticed it was not cleaned. We raised this issue and Cameron's response was that previous tenants did not clean it. Now, whose responsibility is it to welcome new tenants to a clean flat, previous tenants' or the agency's? Then they were really slow with responding to any of our issues raised. When we had an emergency they simply sent an email to a maintenance guy (not even on the same day), as when we called a maintenance guy directly he responded that he has not even heard from Rentolease about our problem yet. When we decided to move out it was us who showed our flat to new tenants not the agency. These are just some examples, but there was so much more. Basically whenever they said the were going to do something it just never happened! It cost me lots of nerves and we are so happy to be out... and it is a shame, because the flat was really nice.
All in all, the whole experience was very disappointing. They clearly did not care about the tenants' well-being and if I were a landlord I would not let those guys take care of my flat. They really can't care less about what's happening with it.
What agent could do to change your mind?
Show more respect to their tenants. Change their attitude, improve customer service and react to tenants' enquiries (especially the urgent ones) quicker.
