Reeds rains were very good when called upon for information or to answer any questions. Adam was always on hand when needed. I would not however recommend using their partner solicitors, who were slow and had to be chased by us at every stage of the buying process. We were promised that although they are more expensive they will be much quicker, definitely not so. At one stage we were told we had to wait 6-8 weeks for the housing department at salford council to make a decision regarding the sale, and there was nothing to be done about it. One phone call from me put us to the head of the queue and it was resolved within the week. Could the solicitor really not have made this call? It does feel that reeds rains are only interested in the large chunk of commission from our solicitor bill, and actually there seems to be no basis to say that they are more speedy or efficient than other, cheaper options. I suppose we should have figured this out ourselves, but as first time buyers its a definite learning curve.

To sum up, reeds rains were fine, but i would recommend using a solicitor you have sourced yourself.
