Overall, my family and I were very disappointed with the service we received from both Max and Gill in particular.
Initially, Max was very warm and pleasant, but that was of course because he wanted us to pay him £4995.00 for him to sell our house to the vendors of the property we bought from!!! i.e he did not take any pictures, write any instructions, or even have to arrange any other viewings! That's a very easy £5,000!!!
Once we were tied in and of course, we didn't want to lose the property we wanted to purchase, we came into contact with Gill.
Gill is the coldest and rudest person I have ever met. I would regularly receive very short, sharp and demanding emails and when I spoke to her over the phone it was like I was an inconvenience.
As we made contact with the vendors personally, it became clear that Gill was trying to play us off against each other to push the move through asap.
To be honest, I will never, EVER be recommending Parkers to anyone in my life.
Working in a customer facing role myself, normally I am empathic towards people and the businesses the own/represent, but I was so disgusted with the service I received that I would be happy to see Parkers in Woodley close down.
