I and a number of other people I know have had difficulties with rent payments to the landlord for months with money going from the tenant but not getting to us without a lot of chasing. They failed to respond to calls were not honest and I have now been informed THEY HAVE CALLED IN THE ADMINISTRATORS tell your tenants not to to pay any more to them or I do not think you will see the money. They sent a letter to the landlords saying they were changing bank accounts and telling them not to pay into the old account or the money will be lost ! Beware !
Been honest!!! We all have financial problems but being honest about them would be better!

Provide service that was paid for or return money. Not give personal and house detail and photographs to another \'agent\'. To communicate and not run off with our money.
We paid nearly £500 with VAT and within two months David Whitefield had done a runner. We were approached by an apparently different company to pay again!

They claim to have gone into administration but the so called administrators, Begbies Traynor, who seem as unscrupulous as Dave Whitefield (formerly Dave Edge), ignore all correspondence. This company is disgusting. They have intentionally withheld money that tenants have paid to them for months and refused to pay it to the landlords stating that there were computer problems. This company is dishonest and I believe they should not be trusted. They have lied for months both in person and by emails. . I have used Whitefield to let two of my properties for almost two years and I have not received any rent from Whitefield for over three months. The tenant has always paid on time. This company is terrible. They have never paid rent monies owed to me on time despite my tenants paying promptly every month. Used them as a letting agent for almost 2 years now. Started off ok, but have declined severely in the standard of their service in the last 6-8 months.
