We moved into the house in September '13 and immediately compiled a long list of problems with the property. Mice, leaky radiators, no appliances, broken TV, broken furniture, old mattresses, no curtains, garden full of rubbish, bins full from previous tenants, and not enough keys for the four of us. We took these issues into the office and were assured by Michael that these issues would be sorted out within weeks.
It is now April and only a small number of problems have been fixed. We have gone into the office 10s of times and have been greeted with such ineptitude, disrespect and unprofessionalism as to question the optimistic ranking of this ramshackle establishment at 12481/12517 in the UK.
Currently we are in our final year of studies, all with dissertations and finals in the coming weeks. Touchstone kindly organised for the heating and bathroom to be fixed from the 7th-11th of April, two weeks after this gap, starting a week late, work is ongoing, no shower, a bucket for a toilet and one gutted bedroom later and touchstone have a lot to answer for.
I would seriously recommend any potential clients of this iniquitous and crooked organisation to back away. Getting involved with Touchstone will lead to a disturbing endurance of the lowest of the low of British estate agents.
What agent could do to change your mind?
Michael was completely useless. We went in numerous times and he would just sit there and scrawl his illegible scrimshaw into his colouring books, nothing would come of it.
