I arranged to view the property on Friday the 25th April at 10am. This appointment was agreed on Tuesday 22nd April.
I drove from Sunderland and co-investor travelled from Newcastle. We arrived at 9.50am to see a 'sale agreed' sign outside.
I called the office who apologised for their error and stated there were no more viewings. I was informed that they had contacted me to relay this message. When checking my phone the cancellation was recorded on my phone at 9.49am on the day of the viewing (11mins before we were supposed to meet).
On further investigation it became apparent that the sale agreed was erected on 24th April during office hours.
For a company who pride themselves on good customer care if I were not so frustrated about this I would laugh.
