I had to move to a repossession order to extract a tenant who had not paid rent for 5 months, there was zero support from Your Move for this procedure and little activity to prevent the lack of payment growing apart from sending letters to me which would not be received in time as I was working abroad at the time.
- Quarterly review were not performed - the tenant had multiple pets in the house, I had knowledge of one and yet the latest review I demanded stated there were none in the house. My neighbours to the property informed me they had never seen a Your Move employee entering the property
- The utilities were changed to a card without my knowledge or permission
- Tenant left the house filthy and damaged with mouldy food in the cupboards, and pet food and droppings in the bedroom
In my experience Your Move proved an unprofessional operation who I would not entrust my property to be looked after by. They tried to keep me as a customer on a more expensive option after the months of hassle with the previous tenant. When my new agent (who is brilliant - Safelets) visited this branch to pick up the property keys, they were rude and offensive. I would never use their services again

You make me think that Your Move, Southampton is about to royally screw me. We also need to break the lease as I got a job in a different city. We discussed this when renewing the tenancy 6.5 months ago. They have raised the rent every year, and when we went to renew, a break clause for six months would have cost £20 more rent per month in addition to the already high raised rent. i put a holding deposit down in the bognor branch. Absolutely disgusted with this agency. Rented a house with them but they did not mention the 'extra' charges which was not little but added up would be hundreds of pounds. Then argued that they have actually mentioned this when we signed the contract. Rubbish....
