Ever since Rob left, the service has been appalling. When we decided to move to a bigger property, the company asked us to carry out new tenant viewings. We noticed one evening, by chance, that the property had been taken down from Rightmove, though we still had a viewing booked for 10am the next day. We phoned the office the next day and they told us that someone had taken the property but they had failed to let either us OR the next viewers know.

We were then sent the leaving paperwork for ANOTHER Client! I was unhappy and emailed the director who phoned me back to apologise whilst also telling me the new tenants had failed reference checks and so we would have more viewings to do. I informed him we would only do this if they were more reasonable about timings and asked our permission before just booking them in and informing us we had to be there!

Viewings continued until one day when the first viewers didn't turn up and then the second tenant did. Whilst I was showing them the house, my partner checked Rightmove to find out that the property had been removed AGAIN! They hadn't bothered to let us know and only told one of the prospective tenants so we waited in for people who were no longer coming and then showed a complete stranger round our home for no reason! The tenant had also taken timeout of work for this appointment!

When I phoned the company, I was told they would be more on top of things so that I wouldn't phone 'wanting blood' as he put it. I informed him it wasn't a case of wanting blood so much as wanting the service that we and our landlord were paying for! He quickly backtracked and acknowledged that we had in fact been more than reasonable and it was their mistake. We received a second phone call from someone simply passing the buck, I requested that we would be informed either way, whether the new tenants would be taking the house.

Our landlord checked the property prior to our final inspection to ensure he was happy with the condition. He was delighted and happy for us to receive our full deposit when the letting agents came round. When the director of the company came round and heard that the landlord had been, he simply took our word for it and so didn't even look at the house! Luckily for the landlord we are incredibly honest, but the house could have been in a disgusting state for all the letting agent knew! And the Landlord was charged for that visit!

Annoyingly, in the confusion of the move our standing order for the rent wasn't cancelled in time and we over paid by one month - the day BEFORE our deposit of the same amount was transferred back to our account. When I realised, I called to get our money back and the director informed us he had noticed - and yet had chosen not to tell us?! Surely good service requires honesty? When would we have been told? They had already had the money a week and noticed when it happened!

We were told the money would be back within 7 days but when I phoned on day 7, I was told it 'had been sent' and would be with us in 24-48 hrs which was already late. We received another phone call the same day asking to confirm our bank account details - the money hadn't been sent at all! Not content to try to hide things from us, they outright lied!

We confirmed details to the director who said he would put it through on a faster payment and then sent us a message to say that he would 'sort it' in the next 24 hrs. By then, it should have been an immediate job! Still waiting for our money, who knows when it will arrive! Utterly disgusted!

Overall; dreadful organisation, poor manners and general trading standards issues!
