While not always the cheapest, you get what you pay for. We acheived a higher sale price with this agent than any other agent had originally recommended. Fees are a means to an end if you can sell it for more why quibble.

Reeds Rains are by far not the cheapest estate agent, but as they sell houses so quickly I feel that I get my moneys worth. The last house I sold was valued by another agent (who was literally around the corner, not 14 miles away). They valued it at 125,00 for a quick sale, to go down to 120,000. Reeds Rains in Ripley valued it at 155,000 and achieved 153,000.

Because i haven't had much experiance with Fees before from a letting agency, as we've had private land lords before, i didn't think the fee was too expensive, considering the size of the property we went for, i think it would be a bit excessive if we went for a smaller property.
