As my boyfriend and I have moved around quite a lot, we've had to deal with countless letting agencies (in different cities and countries). The Gallant Richardson branch in Colchester, however, has by far been the best one every step of the way.
The viewings were professional and helpful, and getting all the paperwork sorted and moving in was quick and easy. If any problems occurred in the flat (electricity, fuses, freezer, cooker etc.), Gallant Richardson were quick to sort it out. With both my boyfriend and I having rather hectic schedules and long working hours, this turned out to be a crucial quality. -In short, being able to leave a matter in the letting agency's hands and trust it being sorted is priceless.
When moving out of the property, the final inspection was also executed very professionally.
It is the first time I have felt that a letting agency is unbiased. They would look at every situation and see it from both the tenant and landlord's points of view and judge accordingly. To me, that is the ideal letting agency.
I contacted them again 2 years after moving out of the country in order to get a reference. They were extremely helpful and quick and provided me with a reference on the day.
I really have nothing bad to say about Gallant Richardson. They are highly professional, understanding, fair and approachable. I would highly recommend them!!!
