i have been with Jordans for around 3 years - i also happen to own a letting company in South Africa so have a pretty decent knowledge of how a good agency should operate.
i am most satisfied with the service i have received from them - i have never found them to be rude or arrogant and have always felt they are working with my best interests at heart - i really enjoy their communication with me and the fact that they send me the tenants communication with them that i am always kept in the loop as to how my tenant is feeling - i have read the tenants complaints further down and urge tenants to realize that the agency generally only operate on landlord instruction. so even though a tenant may make a request for maintenance, unless it is an emergency or health and safety issue, the agency cannot do much until such time as the landlord gives them permission - if they carry out works without owners permission, they may be liable to refund the owner the monies they have used for the works. please remember that the owner pays for all maintenance - the agent cannot just go ahead spending money without permission. most landlords who do not want to carry out repairs will simply not respond to the agents requests - which leaves the agent having to come up with all sorts of stories as to why the works are not being carried out. Jordans have always informed me of maintenance issues and have carried out repairs as soon as they have got my permission.
on the whole i am very satisfied with Jordans and would recommend them to other landlords.

I know this was back in Feb and I hope your daughter has sorted it but Yes, we had the same problem. We rented a property and was there for a year and when we left I cleaned it from top to bottom and it was actually cleaner than when we moved in. However Jordon's claimed that it was dirty and that they had to get professional cleaner in. When I asked that I meet them at the property for them to show me they refused. They tried to move our moving in date 4 times in 3 days leading up to the date we were supposed to pick up the keys. We were moving from the Midlands to Manchester and even as we sat in the office waiting on the keys we were told we couldn't move in as we did not have the correct information with us.
