I booked a viewing for a flat i was looking to buy. I was told someone from the agency would be at the property the whole day and was told to just knock at the door. When i got there, there was nobody. I was 15min early but as i was told somebody would be there the whole day, i called the agency. The woman who picked up the phone was so rude. She shouted "it's 27A!" as if i was knocking at the wrong door but i wasn't. Then she hanged up on me. I wasn't happy with her attitude but i decided to remain calm (i wasn't going to allow her to ruin my saturday). 15 min later, i called the agency again and the same rude woman picked up. I said "i have an appointment at 13:30 but the agent is not here". She rudely shouted at me on the phone "he will be there at 13:30!". I remained calm and replied "it is 13:30". She argued, rudely and agressively "no it's not! He'll be there at 13:30!". I don't like rude people so i told her "if he's not here in 10min, i'll go (as i have other viewings booked). Then she replied with a no-care attitude "that's fine, we have many people who want to view it!"
Since then, i have decided not to ever deal with that agency again. They are arrogant and rude. Most properties are advertised through several agencies anyway. I'd rather give the commission to a polite and likeable agent.

Any chance you are renting the flat 1 in W5 5PE. They are charging us for professional cleaning on this flat but they didn't clean when we moved in. I wouldn't be surprise as we have about the same experience. An advise, re-check your check in report many times as if you don't notice a crack they will charge you for it at the check out. Used RSK to sell my house, Charles was really friendly and knew what he was talking about. Was originally on with Foxtons who failed to find a buyer in 4 months, sold my house in 3 weeks with RSK. Would recommend (fees also cheaper than Foxtons were)....

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
