I strongly advise anyone to think twice about buying or selling a home through Hunters in Stoke newington. We were lied to several times and put under extreme pressure to complete on a property that had storm damage. A few days before we found out the property had been damaged we were called by Hunters out of the blue and told that we had to exchange at the end of that week or the property was going back on the market. The date had not been discussed prior to this call, in fact the date we were given was a month later. Our solicitors spoke to our buyers solicitors and they were not aware of this deadline so we assume it was put in place so we would exchange before we found out about the damage.
Hunters would call us on a daily basis making up lies to try to get us to exchange just because they wanted their commission. In the end we dealt through our solicitors and were lucky enough not to speak to them again.

I am the sales manager at te stoke newington branch and I have no recollection of any such transaction through out branch.
