I have always used David Lewis for my mortgages since I moved to Devon in 2003. On this occasion, I was attempting to purchase one property needing major work and being sold by a deceased estate, whilst obtaining a buy to rent mortgage on my current property. This turned into a long process over several months, with many issues to overcome almost weekly at one point. I have always found David's advice clear and there is no pressure to borrow more money than you can afford or even go through with a mortgage if you decide not to. When things didnt seem to be going well with this purchase, Caroline was on the phone to me almost daily, even if there wasn't any news! Their calm approach, friendly advice and superb organisation and handling of this situation means that I now have a great new flat (once the builders have finished) and an investment property for the future...and I'll be back without any hesitation when my current mortgages finish. A huge thanks to both of you.
