It is with regret that I am writing a complaint about my agent but as nobody there seems to care it might wake up landlords and other tenants to checking out who they deal with BEFORE they accept on a property. I have learned my lesson! Maybe their MD too.
From the moment I moved into my property there were broken kitchen tiles, very sharp ceramic tiles. all broken but neatly swept into a pile in the missing tile's space. I was told on viewing that these tiles would be replaced before I moved in - 3 weeks later I move in tiles still untouched.
Then i was PROMISED - i emphasis that word as it was used by them, that it would DEFINITELY be done within the first week of me moving in - 1 month after that, 14 phonecalls and 3 very useless agents later and I have had the contractor call me but wait for it - he hasn't got any availability until the week after next as he's too busy. so in total from me accpeting the property that would have been almost 10 weeks to sort out a few tiles?! I could have organised myself and done it and claimed back from the landlord quicker and easier.
Surely they either need to get another contractor in as additional work needs to be carried out.
Dishwasher unchecked and broken. Blinds FILTHY I've had to clean the place from top to bottom on moving in, expensive halogen bulbs out - main lighting, very unusual fittings that are impossible to find.
I have had to chase chase chase after being very patient with them - but I honestly feel that after this tenancy agreement is up after 6 months I will be speaking my landlord about changing agents or working with him to get things put right myself and he take it from the rent. OR move out and find another property with an agent.
Absolutely disgraceful service and broken promises. I will never use them to find a property again nor will I when I buy next year.

What agent could do to change your mind?
As soon as the manager saw the state the house had been left in she should have helped us to find somewhere else. If she had done this straight away rather than lie to us, tell us the house was sorted when it wasn't, and then become so aggressive and vile towards all of us then we would have been happy customers. The funny thing is we found another house with O'Riordan Bond in the midst of all this mess which if she'd have showed us we would have probably moved straight in to! (and it was more money!), but after this I would NEVER do business with them ever again and am advising everyone I know to do the same. Don't lie to your customers, don't shout at your customers.Attached Filesnbsp;
