I rang on Monday 27th January to try book an appointment for a valuation. After explaining I work long hours and I am out of the house most of the day I was wanting to book either a late appointment or a Saturday appointment the first lady transferred me to the Manager / V Helen.
Once again I explained that I work very long hours and only have 30minutes for lunch so I needed either a late appointment or a Saturday. To which Helen replied " I am fully booked this weekend." That's ok I replied I am willing to wait until next month for a Saturday. She then proceeded to tell me that Saturdays are reserved for viewings and take presidence over valuations on a weekend.
She then asked if I had a friend or a family member that could be there and didn't seem to take on board that I wanted to be present.
I unfortunately do not have the luxury of " non " working friends or family so really needed a bit of flexability from your company.
I said I am a motivated seller that wants to get the house on the market as soon as possible and I am chain free
Surely you need the valuations to get sales to have viewers. So how are viewing so much more important than valuations ? I am baffled especially as I was happy to wait over a month for a valuation.
After listening to your radio ad's I honestly thought you were the right choice. HOW WRONG WAS I !!
What agent could do to change your mind?
As it was the manager/valuer I was speaking to and in total control of her own diary I am more than sure she does not do all the viewings. I was lead to believe you had accompanied viewers anyway ??? and this isn't the Manager/valuer
So maybe try accommodate to do a Saturday valuation even if that was in a months time, I was willing to wait. Instead of constantly saying viewing come first.
She could have done it early doors at 9am on her way into the office or at close of business I was very flexible with that it just needed to be a Saturday.
Maybe be more customer focused than target and sales bonus focused
