After one month speaking through e-mail and telephone to this branch informing them about the date we would like to start to let, our pets, etc we finally arranged a viewing to 3 potential Properties.
The bad attendance immediately started when we arranged the viewing. They made us go back and forward with the time/date available making my wife call me and them a few times in the same day until they let us know they could finally make it.
After 5 minutes and leaving the 1st house, we were told that the house we were the most interested in wasn't available for a viewing as the person did not bring the keys. Also, she add that she was expecting other people to see the same house and started looking around for them. Fortunately i made my way in to the second house by being able to open a window allowing us to see the house in full. We left the house and again the person told us she was expecting other people and that they should already be there.
she started to make us all sort of questions being very invasive. After leaving the 3rd house we told her we wanted to reserve the 2nd option. She saw 2 women in front of us and rush us saying other people have arrived. At this point we understood it wasn't just a cheap letting tactic but the people were really there. I ask: would she be willing to show us the house with the other 2 women? Like a tour?
We told her that she was informed that we wanted the house and she told us if we do wanted to keep it we would have to quickly phone the branch and talk to Mrs Laura. We phoned and suddenly nobody seemed to know what we were talking about. We were asked to provide the address in full till the last letter in the postcode and told she wasn't available. When she called us back she started to ask when we wanted to move (?!) and told us she didn't know if it was OK to move in the mentioned date (2 weeks after), something we told her several times and to what she replied it was OK. Even the person who showed us the house told us that the date would be perfect a few minutes before. My wife told her that and she replied we still were the first in the line.
When we hang out the phone the agent and the other 2 women, her presumed friends, they all were expecting our car and looking inside of it all the way out.
After this, we were contacted by Miss Laura who astonished us with a question and an information we had already provided several times and confirmed with her. She asked us what kind of pets we had, their breeds and inform us she was going to check with the landlord when she had already told us that was fine by him. May we also add liars to the complaining list?
The only reason we went to visit the Property was because she let us know the Landlord did accept pets. I expressed my disappointment and surprise by e-mail and received no answer regarding that!Just a cold answer that she would inform us.
I have several e-mails between my wife and her where my wife state many times we do have pets, informed her about their breeds and specifically asked her to send us houses that do accept them. I can provide them at any time.
This Lady seemed completely delusional as she makes conversations by e-mail of things we never told her and never answers to our questions with clear and concise answers.
Finally, she sent us an e-mail telling we could move with our pets but we had to pay more fees.
We can't make business with this kind of people and we really don't understand what kind of entertainment goes around this branch.
This was, by far, the worst attendance ever and we have already seen and spoken to many different Estates. Unbelievable this kind of behavior. We received best attendance in small, familiar Estates.
What agent could do to change your mind?
No. The Agent could have been truthful, respectful, professional, ethic, etc
