I can honestly say that Trevor at Townends Streatham is one of the nicest agents I've met on the market, and I met a few when I started my search to buy a property. Thanks to his advice and hard work from day one, I managed to buy the flat I've dreamed of for so long. I spent months looking on the market and agents from some of the big companies had the big ego to go with them, they were pushy and showed me properties they knew I couldn't afford and had an attitude of "I can sell anything and I don't really care what the client wants as long as I take his money". There was none of this nonsense with Trevor. He actually cares about his customers, is very friendly, honest, genuine and most importantly, not pushy. I'm a first time buyer and once he showed me the flat I liked (at the very first viewing I should note), he worked very hard liaising with the venders, solicitors and mortgage advisers to make sure everything went well and I could move in on the date I wanted. I would also mention Daniel and the rest of the team at Townends, who just seem to be positively different than other estate agents. I consider myself very lucky to have stumbled upon them as I hadn't heard of them beforehand, but I hope they continue to grow, whilst keeping the good ethic on a market that's gone crazy at the moment. I wish everyone in the team all the best and hope that other agents realise they need to be more like them. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to buy a property.

My friend was offered a deal of 6% on the fees and he was very happy with this deal because it made the service (let only) more affordable for him as he ahs a huge mortgage. He hopes that he will be able to get a similar deal in future if the property becomes vacant after the current letting.
