We had Romans over for a valuation of our property but decided to use another agent. We then saw a house we wanted to view that was on the market with Romans and phoned for a viewing. They said they would check available times with the seller and come back to us, we then had a call to ask if we had decided to use them to sell our house and the answer was no. After two days our viewing wasn't confirmed so we called and spoke to another staff member who said he would get back to us. Nothing further was heard and we felt blacklisted, even though we were good buyers (we had sold our house with a closed chain). Other estate agents often arranged viewings the same day. Is there a link between us choosing to use another agent to sell our house and their failure to allow us to view their property? We will have to draw our own conclusions but the result is the same, which is that they have not allowed all potential buyers to view their seller's property and this cannot be acting in the seller's best interests.

Mr Payne i'm sorry to hear of your fustrations with our Basingstoke office but neither the sales or the lettings department have any record of valuing your property in Basingstoke or having you registered as a buyer wanting to view a property so if you can please contact us ASAP as we would love to show you some houses. What agent could do to change your mind?
Be more approachable to tenants who require landlord contact details if the landlord cant be contacted on the details supplied to the tenant by the agent. Also ludicrous fees.
