I am a landlord and have a property under the management of Aston Fox. I started a two-year contract with them and paid them the front-up fees of 2,400 pounds as soon as they found me the tenants in 2013.
However, since then they have always been late in paying me rental monies collected on my behalf and I have had to chase them very hard to get the payment for every single month. Stephanie is the only person who manages finance and accounts for the whole company but the problem with Stephanie is that she is often not in the office, and when she is in the office most of time she is in a meeting, out for lunch, not at her desk, etc.
Then the payment stopped when they still owe me two months' rent. I've tried to contact Stephanie many times by emails and phone calls but with no success this time.
Worried, I started doing research on-line and found myself not alone. The dreadful conduct by Stephanie, full name Stephanie Joan Chandler, and his son Philip Lionel Chandler can be traced back to as early as 2000 when a report from the Evening Standard in 2002 showed that they got involved in several companies which went into liquidation and cost innocent landlords thousands of pounds. This report can still be found at
http://www.standard.co.uk/home/letting-agents-a-horror-story-6319764.html .
Numerous similar cases have also been reported at letsfixbritain website
http://www.letsfixbritain.com/astonfox.htm
From the website below it can be understood that Philip Lionel Chandler was disqualified as a director long time ago on 14th June 2007 for nine years.

Conclusion? It's a shame that a company like Aston Fox is still trading in our high streets, like a trap waiting for the next unsuspicious victims. Try to avoid Aston Fox at all cost! Never let your own money pass their hands since you may never see it again.
