Complete bunch of wide boys, avoid at all costs. They didn't put my deposit in a Tenants Deposit Scheme - which is illegal. Everything they said would be there when I moved in (painted, etc) wasn't. These are cowboys.

Thanks Alex for your unkind words, perhaps a well constructed and worded email to myself may have been more appropriate and useful but you clearly wanted to have a rant.
Before going to the ombudsman you have to comply with the company complaints procedure which will involve you having to construct a sensible email without calling us "cretins" and "lazy"

Thanks for the review, here is a few points you conveniently left out of your review:
1. You failed to replace the mattress as agreed at the start of the tenancy and Jesse had to run around trying to help you out
2. All bills aren't paid, the communal heating and hot water bill is still outstanding (not your fault) but we have to hold funds back

Can you please let me know which property you rented as i would like to investigate this further. If CityZEN manage the property we always protect the deposit. If it only a let only and the landlord is managing the property it is their responsibility to protect the deposit as we do not hold it. Please let me know what specific issues you had so that i can make sure this doesn't happen again.
