I have just come back from a visit to this agency and I am so angry by the way we were dealt with. My husband and I drove to Basingstoke to take our daughter to sort out her tenancy with Martin & Co. She has just gone through a relationship split and her former partner has decided not to pay even though he is still on the agreement. We thought it would be a good idea to speak directly with the agent to see what the options were.
The lady who dealt with us initially was lovely but hadn't been at the office very long and was unable to advise. She asked us to wait whilst Mr Sheldon came off the phone. When he finally spoke to my daughter his response was "I can't help you need to ring on Monday and speak to the relevant department" his whole manner and attitude was rude, aggressive and arrogant. Customer service skills were zero. My daughter explained she worked normal office hours and was unable to make phone calls but his response was " you will have to ring on Monday" no offer of help or anything. We were appalled by this mans attitude. I walked out with my daughter whilst my husband stayed and told "Mr" Sheldon exactly what he thought of him. We are both professional people and We have never experienced such rude treatment from a customer service business.

My advice to anyone considering using this branch is DO NOT USE DO BUSINESS WITH MARTIN & CO BASINGSTOKE.
What agent could do to change your mind?
Retrain their staff.
