Where do I start. If there was an avoid at all costs button I would have pressed it. Firstly, when we signed up they were lovely, took our deposit and then it all went down hill!
We moved in and soon found out that we had no heating. Reported this straight away and were told that we weren't a priority as we had an electric fire in the living room. Didn't matter that the house had been empty and I was pregnant, we had to wait 4 days! We didn't have a garage key so had a complete nightmare storing things for a week! We had a constant smell of raw sewage which we reported for 4 months. Eventually they did an inspection and found a pipe had burst and there was raw sewage under the floor of the cloakroom... By then baby had been born! Constant problems with the boiler breaking down and the radiators not working. The shower in the en suite was broken etc. this was a large house which we were paying a considerable rent for but treated disgustingly. When it came to moving, well we were amazed. Exit inventory was completed with me present and no issues were found. After a month of no communication I chased up the deposit to be told the landlady (a woman I would hate to describe on here) was disputing it for £840. I asked why and she had decided that we had caused damage, damage listing on the moving in inventory (she was a moron!) john German did not bother to try and resolve this. They just hid. I raised a complaint with our deposit protection agency and got it all back minus £40 for the holes left from a curtain rail we put up. The service we received was totally unacceptable and a great deal of training is needed!
