I have had Winkworth let and manage my only buy-to-let flat since I bought it ten years ago. They have always found me good, reliable tenants (touch wood!) and have only had 7 tenancies in ten years because the tenants are happy to stay there. Kate Noble has been a particularly good manager, liaising between me and my tenants in a tricky situation that arose with one of the other flats in the building.
Kate is available, friendly, knowledgeable, returns my calls and emails quickly and is a good communicator. The tenants like her. She gave me a hug at Christmas! I try to be a good landlord and to make a happy and well-maintained home for my tenants, and Kate and Battersea Winkworth help me to do this.
I do find their contractors expensive, especially the call-out charges, though since I do not want to manage the place myself I guess I am stuck with that, but I wish this could be reduced.. I have been happy with the contractor work with a very few exceptions, when Winkworth did their best to sort it out.
I trust their advice on rent levels for the area, they have negotiated well with new tenants, and I have recommended them to the new person who has bought a buy-to-let flat in the building.
