As a tenant, AVOID !
As a landlord - GREAT - don't have to maintain your property at all, and can keep your entire deposit for your rotting property no matter how clean the house is!
Takes up to 3 months for maintenance to commence - will only budge if you call social services;
Awful untrustworthy technicians outsourced to come into my private home!
No inventory provided when moving in, although they argue that I do have one;
Refuse to explain the exiting process so that we can do the best to can to come to agreement;
LOVE to pass the buck;
Don't compensate for bathrooms that are not in use;
Blackmail you with negative credit record if you withhold partial rent because for their slack maintenance process;
Never respond to emails or calls if they know you're going to ask them about maintenance;
They've affected the efficiency of our next rental process by withholding vital referencing information. It's taken nearly a month for them to offer a reference to my new agent and they have the audacity to charge me £36 for a positive word - we were hoping to move in 5 days time! We'll have to squat if it's not approved.
Is that BLACKMAIL or what ??
Oh and there adverts are never true - always exaggerate the size and condition of the rental property.
What agent could do to change your mind?
Think about your tenant as a customer throughout their tenancy and not just at the beginning -
