When I first signed up with Swetenhams to sell my property they promised the world. It turned out they delivered nothing.
Each time they carried out a viewing I had to chase them for feedback. They rarely called to give updates on the property. In fact, they rarely did anything without a lot of nagging from myself.
Swetenhams claimed that they were the only estate agents in Chester that advertised on RightMove, something which from day one was quite clearly untrue.
After almost a year of incompetence and poor customer service I decided to advertise my property with another estate agents. I emailed them with my 14 days notice and requested that they confirm receipt...nothing. I requested that they send my keys back...nothing. I'm still waiting.
I've never written a review online but felt so compelled to do so following such terrible service. I would not recommend using Swetenhams. They put all the effort into the hard sale to get you to sign up and then ease off the gas. There are plenty of reputable estate agents in Chester, it's worth shopping around.
