We used Kaye Mackenzie to sell a relatives house who recently passed away, making the circumstances very difficult for us. Neil Fletcher ( one of the partners of the company) is a very typical sales man, overly friendly, and very pleasant when he thinks he is getting business out of someone. After some research we discovered that Kaye Mackenzie were very expensive compared too other local agents, so we decided that we would sell the house privately. Upon informing Neil that we were going to sell our house privately he was very rude and confrontational questioning our decision and being very patronising in our choice of selling the house privately. He started to send very disrespectful and rude emails to us, when I phoned to complain about this he said ¢â‚¬Å“Its not like I will be doing business with you again so it doesn't matter¢â‚¬Â. I would not recommend these agents to anyone as they are unprofessional, rude and over priced.

I was very disappointed to read the comments by Mrs Godfrey's daughter as her story is far from the truth regarding the marketing of Birchfields Road . On the 2nd of December I spent nearly an hour advising Mr and Mrs Godfrey about letting and sales issues, particularly,the Planning considerations relating to student lettings .I quoted her a fee of 1% plus VAT which is very , very competitive in any area. Mrs Godfrey instructed me a couple of days later and I called at her property in Hale , Cheshire to collect the keys.We marketed the house and conducted viewings before Mrs Godfrey said she 'wanted the keys'.It wasn't until I pressed her that she said she wanted to withdraw the house and 'sell it on Ebay'. I have no problem with vendors changing their mind , however , Mrs Godfrey was very unclear with her instructions and showed no clarity in her plans .

Have found these agents to be very poor. Seem to have a very lax attitiude to regulations and have in my opinion been bordering on negligent in their handling of my property....
